Thanks John for posting the results, and thanks Jim Nelligan for putting it all together along with some delicious beer brats! It was a perfect day for long runs, and that's what we did

Can't wait for the next one!!

Our first tournament was a well attended event with 24 boats that showed up for some competition as the weather was accommodating, sunny skies and light winds for most of the morning.
We did have one little issue that I have to address. One boat called in to enter and then didn't show up at the weigh in which it says in the rules is a big no, no. Also, you can't enter and then not show up to pay for the tournament you entered. Please make good on this, you know who you are.
The target fish for this tournament was brown trout and we had some caught, but as usual not that many of the mud dwellers. Time Off caught 6 of the 16 caught and won the tournament because of it, great job guys!
The big money winner was Runnin' Bare, Captain Jerry Taylor, who won the Big 3 money and the Big Fish money, nice pay day Jerry! Congrats!
Good turn out and the brats were good.

1st Place - Time Off, Captain Doug McCallister 187.9 Pts $120

2nd Place - Follow Me, Captain Kevin Massard, 178.9 Pts, $72

3rd Place - Runnin' Bare, Captain Jerry Taylor, 178.0 Pts, $48

Top Rookie Boat, Northerner, Captain Jake Parsons

Big Fish of the Tournament, 16.8 LB Lake Trout, Runnin' Bare $240

Big Target Fish, 14.7 LB Brown Trout, Time Off $96

Big 3 Winner: Runnin' Bare $350 (Sponsored by: Advanced Automotive of Palatine, Thermalcraft Inc., Duck Bill Charters, Ameriplate, James P Maechtle Decorating, Jabber Jaws, Jack Olles)

We hope everyone had a good time and we look forward to seeing y'all at our next club tournament on May 27th.

Thanks for all the hard work that goes into the tournament by all involved!

I am sure glad that the season has started, it is always so much fun to see everyone at the weigh ins and be able to recap the day and just plain talk fishing with so many friends!

Thanks to all the rookie boats for coming out and participating!

Can't wait until next weekend for the next tournament!
