Can someone recommend a good crappie guide for reelfoot lake? I'm going down june 9-16 with my brother and his 12 yr old son and want to explore the area. Looking for just a guide, no lodging package as were staying only 60 miles away in Cedar Grove. I know we're on the back side of the prime cappie fishing but we going fishing dammit!!! We'd also consider bluegills and bass though with a youngster with limited experience...thinking panfish are the way to go. Anyone????

You may want to try Kirk Palmer (731-334-8234). He is young, energetic and
quite knowledgeable about Reelfoot. Use his services back in March with a lot
of high water and wind and my partner and I caught more crappie than the guys
from our club who used the guides at the Blue Bank where we stayed.
Best of luck!! The bluegill bite should be on pretty good by now!
