Fished 95th in the yak from 830-11 today. Wind picked up pretty strong compared to forecast so that determined where I went. I went straight to the southern end of the breaker wall, trolled back up the lake side of the wall, then back in.

Went 2 for 2 - 1 at the southern border of the break wall, 1 at the gap.
1 coho on a j-13 fire tiger back 30.
1 steelhead on a red Brad’s thin fin 15 feet behind a planar board that was 20 feet from
The boat.
Red dodger w mardigras fly did not get hit. Neither did reef runner.

Water temp 48.5 inside, 44 outside.

Hope you know that the lake side of the breakwall is Indiana waters.

Just to be clear ,,, NOT to argue . I was told by an Ind. CO . that ALL the waters at 95th St. , are Ind. waters . Ind. ALLOWS the use of ILL. Licenses , inside the breakwall area . OUTSIDE the breakwall , an Ind. License is required , as Bulldawg said . There is an imaginary line between the South lighthouse on the Breakwall , to a Farm Triangle on the end of a pier at the Cal. Yacht Club . That is the south border where Ill / Ind licenses are required . I do believe that an Ind. License can be used in that Reciprocal Waters Area , as well .

Just tryin to help .

Yeah, it’s confusing. I just have a license for each state that touches the lake. It’s cool to be able to fish 4 states on lake MI all within a 2.5 hour drive.
