Thanks for the reports guys you put me on the fish. Paying it forward. Solo today and what a blast. Already texted the guys who could not go.... :P Went 9 for 10 today. 4 Lakes and 5 kings. Kept 4 kings 12, 14, 18 and 19 #. One Laker kept. 60 to 70 FOW and about 45 down was the ticket. White flasher and green fly was best.

Lets get this straight,
everyone's catching kings on spoons right now...…
Papa D is a big fan of magnum spoons for big kings.....
Papa D smokes the kings on a paddle and fly ……
There is a reason good fishers seem to be lucky !
I would have been trying to force feed spoons all day !

Even better (or worse) - I fished the area yesterday with my son and the first rig we deployed yesterday was a white bladed uv/uv taped SD and a green frog howie, which we fished on a wire dipsy, set to 3 back 60-80 (40ft down) and ended up swapping it for mag moonshine spoons after it didn't get sniffed! Congrats on "schooling" us with this excellent solo trip!
