Wanted to stack leadcore 5 color and 10 color with 150 and 300 copper on one side of the boat. I was thinking 5 color, 10 color, 150, 300. Is this right?

Yup thats right.

I stopped using copper a few years back and went strait to microlead. Seems to be the best of both worlds and much easier to deal with.

Storm Warning, how do you connect the backing to micro and also the leader end?

I know alot of people use an Albright knot but I trust a small spro swivel. That is how I make my connections.

I also have a 100 copper/4 color microlead setup. I hea shrink my copper twist with 3/32 heat shrink tubing.

I use a albright. Kind of miss the willis knot that worked with standard lead but micro is way to thin.

I’d be pretty nervous with that 150cu inside of that 10 color.
I use Albrights with no problems on my cores and coppers.

Should be outside 5, 150cu, 10, and 300cu inside. 150cu its kinda like equivalent of 7-8color of 27lb LC. Depending on the currents, maybe use spoons on both lines instead of rotators coz one line may catch the other.

I was thinking same thing. Ran it like that 2 times, both times 150 gets tangled with 5 color. I’ve tried to keep them far apart. No clue why
