Played a little hooky today when I saw the weather I couldn't resist calling a retired friend to fish for a few hours. Just 2 of us today so 6 rod set up. Finished 2-2 both silver with a bonus 14lb king. Still getting used to new rig but she is coming along great. Lines in 6:20am and lines out 10am. Went to Waukegan harbor mouth and fish between and all round the 2 cans. Same 25 to 35 fow. SOG 2.4 to 3. Water temp 47.8. Many boats for a weekday. DR w/ 2clr swr down 17' in 35fow with Voodoo standard spoon took both fish. Lots of hooks around the cans near the structure.

Here's is the King

Good luck and be safe

Thanks
Steve

Steve, your new rig is quite the beauty! Very family friendly, but still set up for business. You're gonna enjoy being on G-dock. Lots of great people and fishermen, as I'm sure you've already learned. Looking forward to swapping reports in person this summer!

I put her in Saturday, ran through the checklist and made sure everything was working as it should but did not have time to wet a line. I'm hoping to get out Saturday if the lake lets me. See you on the dock!
