:thanks can I run my fm stero on the same antenna I use to run ship to shore radio anybody ever try this thank you for any comments or info.

Shakesphere makes a radio antenna adapter for that purpose. I bought it probably 5 years ago and it didnt work for radio and my guess is it was not good for my vhf either. I still have it somewhere in my garage.

The antenna cabling would need a "duplexer" installed. This is so the TX power of the ship to shore transceiver does not
overload/burn up the input/front end of the FM broadcast unit.
